植物名。山茱萸科山茱萸属，落叶乔木。高度可达十公尺，树皮为薄片剥裂，澹褐色。叶对生，呈卵形或椭圆形，前端渐尖，表面有短毛疏生。春季开黄色小花，花瓣四枚，向外反卷。果实为长椭圆形核果，初为绿色，成熟后变为红色，味甘酸，可供药用。
