植物名。芸香科柑属，常绿乔木。枝条粗大，带刺。叶大而厚，呈长卵形，叶柄有倒心形宽翼。初夏开白花，花四至八枚簇生于枝端叶腋，成聚繖花序，花形为柑橘类中最大者。果实即柚子，皮澹黄或黄绿色，质厚而粗，果形为球形或梨形，果肉白色、澹红色或紫红色，可食用。
