感染，因接觸而受影響。《警世通言．卷二二．宋小官團圓破氈笠》：「你爹見他病害得不好，恐沾染他人，方纔哄他上岸打柴，逕自轉船來了。」《紅樓夢．第一一八回》：「但願他從此一心巴結正路，把從前那些邪魔永不沾染，就是好了。」也作「霑染」。
