植物名。百合科蔥屬，多年生草本。原產地中海東岸、西亞細亞、伊朗。葉中空，似蔥而甚細。繖形花序成球狀，花小，色白。地下鱗莖也稱為「洋蔥」，扁球狀，紅紫色或白、褐等色，供食用。
