乐器名。为比利时人阿多非．萨克斯在西元一八○四年左右发明。以圆锥形弯曲的金属管製成，管键上有二十或二十以上的开孔，属管乐器。利用吹气时簧片的振动引起管内空气的振动，配合开孔的开合，可吹出不同的音调。音色丰富而宽广，最早于军乐队中使用，后亦广泛引用于一般演奏中。
