植物名。豆科一年生草本植物，蔓生，複叶，夏初开蝶形小花，结实成荚，嫩荚及种子皆可食。种子又可晒乾，磨成粉製饼。茎叶嫩时可食，称为「豆苗儿」或「豌豆苗」。因豌豆为荷兰人传入台湾，也称为「荷兰豆」、「胡豆」。
