谢绝一切请託，按照己意独立处理公事。语本《史记．卷一二二．酷吏传．赵禹传》：「禹为人廉倨。为吏以来，舍毋食客。公卿相造请禹，禹终不报谢，务在绝知有宾客之请，孤立行一意而已。」后多用作贬义词，指某人不接受劝告，固执己见，独断独行。清．袁枚《隋园诗话．卷三》：「盖一意孤行之士，细行不矜，孔子所谓『观过知仁』，正此类也。」
