在建築物落成，新造車船啟用，道路橋梁開始通航，或商店、工廠、展覽會等開幕時所舉行的一種典禮。邀請要人或名媛用剪刀剪斷綵帶，以表示啟用、開啟之意。也作「翦綵」。
