  2. 一种旧时的习惯。父母为求小孩顺利成长，而将其託名在菩萨或尼姑、道士处做乾儿子或乾女儿，称为「寄籍」。清．王士祯《池北偶谈．卷二五．谈异六．老僧》：「昔侍御与贫道为方外交，其公子方在襁褓，寄籍释氏，为我弟子。」也称为「寄名」　。
