数学上指当xⁿ＝ｂ，ｎ就叫做以ｘ为底时ｂ的对数。

重編國語辭典

表示一个数是另一个定义的底数（基数）的几次方的运算。具体而言，若bʸ=x，则称y是x以b为底的对数，记作log_b(x)=y。
