形容非常悲愤或害怕。《三国演义．第三七回》：「窃念备汉朝苗裔，滥叨名爵，伏睹朝廷陵替，纲纪崩摧，群雄乱国，恶党欺君，备心胆俱裂。」《西湖佳话．岳坟忠迹》：「人人见了心胆俱裂，杀得金兵四散五落。」也作「心胆俱碎」。
