美玉和石头一同被烧毁。语出《书经．{[fb5b]}征》：「火炎崑冈，玉石俱焚。」后指不论贤愚、善恶、好坏，同时受害，尽皆毁灭。《三国演义．第一一六回》：「如执迷不降，打破关隘，玉石俱焚！」《初刻拍桉惊奇．卷三一》：「既如此，何不乘机反邪归正？朝廷必有酬报。不然他日一败，玉石俱焚。」也作「玉石同焚」、「玉石同烬」、「玉石同沉」、「玉石俱烬」、「玉石俱摧」、「玉石俱碎」。
