chóngdǔtiānrì
to see the light again (idiom); delivered from oppression

CEDICT

脱离黑暗，重见光明。比喻受压迫的人得到自由，被冤屈的人得到伸雪。《聊斋志异．卷一○．龙飞相公》：「如有万分之一，此即何难。但深在九地，安望重睹天日乎！」也作「重见天日」。
