植物名。芸香科金柑属，低矮常绿灌木。叶为革质，互生，长椭圆形，两端均钝，长三至六公分，表面暗绿色，裡面苍白色，油脂密布。花形小，白色，单立，花瓣五片。其果实也称「金橘」，球形，熟时呈金黄色，果皮厚而柔韧，不易与果肉分离。果实可生食，或加工製成果饼、蜜饯。原产于台湾及大陆地区东部、南部，日本、越南、菲律宾亦有出产。
