鸡形目吐绶鸡科两种鸟类的统称。俗称为「火鸡」。体高三尺馀。羽色随品种而异，头部有瘤疣。雄者喉下垂红色肉瓣，会发出咕喽的声音。今台湾及大陆地区闽、粤等省多饲以供肉食用。也称为「吐绶鸡」。
