雞形目吐綬雞科兩種鳥類的統稱。俗稱為「火雞」。體高三尺餘。羽色隨品種而異，頭部有瘤疣。雄者喉下垂紅色肉瓣，會發出咕嘍的聲音。今臺灣及大陸地區閩、粵等省多飼以供肉食用。也稱為「吐綬雞」。
