冤家、仇人，常作对亲暱者的称呼。不是冤家不聚头形容人会碰在一起发生矛盾、纠纷或情感的问题，都是缘分注定好的。通常指今世成为情人或亲人，须有前世缘分。《红楼梦．第二九回》：「我这老冤家是那世裡孽障，偏生遇见了这麽两个不省事的小冤家，没有一天不叫我操心。真是俗语说的：『不是冤家不聚头』。」也作「不是冤家不聚会」。
