動物名。鳥綱燕雀目伯勞科。種類多，以臺灣常見的紅尾伯勞為例，體型較雀稍大，頭、頸、背部呈珠灰色，至腰部漸轉為紅褐色。常在草坡、疏樹林或農田村舍附近活動，常立於枝柱上。性凶猛，喜食昆蟲、蛙類、蜥蜴。成語中的「勞燕分飛」，勞指的就是伯勞鳥。
