动物名。鸟纲燕雀目伯劳科。种类多，以台湾常见的红尾伯劳为例，体型较雀稍大，头、颈、背部呈珠灰色，至腰部渐转为红褐色。常在草坡、疏树林或农田村舍附近活动，常立于枝柱上。性凶勐，喜食昆虫、蛙类、蜥蜴。成语中的「劳燕分飞」，劳指的就是伯劳鸟。
