乐器名。流行于我国苗、傜等少数民族的吹奏乐器。将若干竹管分成两排，插入木製笙斗中製成。每管根部均装有簧片，靠吹奏时振动簧片发音。芦笙可分单管、双管、五管、六管等，以六管最常见。过去多于舞蹈和歌唱时做伴奏之用，现在也用来独奏。
