  1. 樂曲名。傳說為春秋時晉師曠或齊劉涓子所作。陽春取其「萬物知春，和風淡蕩」之義。白雪則取其「凜然清潔，雪竹琳琅之音」之義。
  2. 較為深奧難懂的音樂。相對於通俗音樂而言。《文選．宋玉．對楚王問》：「客有歌於郢中者，其始曰下里巴人，國中屬而和者數千人。其為陽阿薤露，國中屬而和者數百人。其為陽春白雪，國中屬而和者不過數十人。」後亦用以比喻精深高雅的文學藝術作品。
